The Lavender Light: A Provence Watercolour Retreat
In partnership with Club Garrigue.

What Makes This Retreat Sketch-Tastic?
The villa sits above Lauris, a hilltop village in the Luberon with a weekly market and a view of the valley from every window, the kind of place where the light does something different by four in the afternoon and something else again by seven. Mornings are a guided watercolour session in the garden, working with your teacher on whatever's in front of you: the flowers, the stone wall, the hills changing color while you're still deciding what to paint first. There's no rush to move on to the next subject, and no next city waiting. Afternoons are open, the pool, a walk into the village for the market, or staying exactly where you are because the light's finally doing what you wanted it to.
Evenings are dinner outside most nights, plates passed around a long table while the sky finishes whatever it started at sunset. Nobody's in a hurry to clear it.
By day seven, you've got a full sketchbook, a looser hand than you started with, and a working knowledge of exactly how the light moves across one villa over the course of a week, something you only get by staying still long enough to watch it happen.
Dates: TBA. Join our newsletter below, and we'll let you know the moment they're confirmed.
